Meet Tim

Helping people through their toughest moments is something I find deeply rewarding.

My training in psychology and counselling, together with years spent honing my ability to listen and connect, allows me to offer real support and insight to those who need it.

Life hasn’t always been smooth, and the challenges I’ve faced taught me the value of empathy, compassion, and truly listening without judgment. I believe every person brings their own story, and that’s why I approach each client with openness and respect, meeting them exactly where they are.

I felt heard and listened with out any baggage which has helped me understand myself and others so much better

I divide my time between private practice counselling and my work in a mental health sub-acute facility (read: helping people with complex mental health needs get back on their feet).

I have also worked as a Lifeline telephone crisis support worker (read: compassionately aiding people during their most challenging moments by offering a listening ear and a safe space for expression).

These all complement each other, and in fact, I have found that they turbo-boost collective learning, a deeper wisdom; it's a truly unique experience.

I have been helping people for 20 years throughout my career, and I'm dedicated to providing compassionate counselling tailored to clients' unique needs.

My approach emphasises building a strong therapeutic alliance and creating a supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to improve your mental health.
